Educating People in Christ

At EPIC, our mission is simple: to educate, equip, and inspire the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and servants through the lens of a Christ-centered education. We believe that every child is uniquely made by God and deserves an environment where their head, body, heart, and hands are all engaged.

Our vision is a community of families committed to raising students who do not just learn information but live it out. We think. We lead. We serve. And we do it all missionally.

"Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it."

The story of EPIC Co-op

How EPIC Began

EPIC was born out of a passion for faith-rooted education and a deep conviction that homeschool families in the Crossville area deserved more than a curriculum — they deserved a community.

What started as a conversation between a handful of families grew into something bigger than anyone expected. God made it clear: this was not just an idea. It was a calling.

Today, EPIC is a structured, in-person academic co-op meeting every Tuesday and Thursday at Ascension Church in Crossville, Tennessee, serving students ages 6 through 17 across three thoughtfully designed program levels.

Our Four Pillars

🎓
Leadership Education
Equipping students to think critically, learn deeply, and make a real difference in the world around them.
Faith
Building a strong foundation in Christ and His truth in everything we do, every single day.
👥
Mentorship
Guided by caring mentors who know each student by name and invest in who they are becoming.
🌎
Serve
Serving locally and globally with a heart for others, because faith without action is incomplete.

Our Faith Statement

At EPIC, faith is not a subject we teach on Fridays. It is the foundation everything else is built on. We are a Christ-centered co-op that believes every area of education — science, literature, leadership, service — is an opportunity to see God at work.

We welcome families who share a commitment to raising their children in the Christian faith and who desire an academic environment where that faith is woven into every lesson, every relationship, and every day.

THE BIBLE We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the foundation for all truth.
JESUS CHRIST We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, fully God and fully man, risen from the dead.
THE FAMILY We believe God designed the family and that parents are the primary educators of their children.
THE CHURCH We believe in the power of Christian community and are grateful to partner with Ascension Church.
